Hi Rik,
I re-downloaded the installer, compared with mine, all good.
You could try with another web browser (Firefox, Chrome, ..) to see if the warning is still there..
Also, if you manage to download the file, you can test it before running it:
I did Upload it to https://www.virustotal.com/gui/home/upload
for OctaneRender_Studio+_for_3ds_Max_2024.1-Alpha1_-_15.01.exe
it gives this hash:
44e9e93afb96b28afb61796890b0b900023f8260e1f2e8eee0ab23768db554e1
check that you get the same..
All tests comes clean..
I can't guaranty at 100%, but all seems safe..
Thanks

Thanks NZ. Probably just a false positive from over keen Malwarebytes.

Does octane allow color blend for native 3ds max liquids?

Most renderers like vray, corona allow to blend liquids and smoke in Phoenix, 3ds max liquids, etc. Can Octane do it? Can you add this feature if not?

Hi coilbook,

I had a look at 3dsMax liquids, but I couldn't find a way to do it yet..
If you have a sample of 3dsMax liquids with color blending that works with vray or Corona, that could help !

I also checked at Phoenix liquids, and the color information seems accessible, but that will require some support update in the octane plugin side..
I'm looking into it..

Thanks

Hi neonZorglub,
If you can get RGB to work with Phoenix FD that would be great!
Do you know if it is something that can be done in the next release or this will take months to implement?

Thank you!

PS can you also look into smoke grid too to blend smoke?
