Hi Simon,
Is there a stable CarraraOtcane version that supports this?
If so, is the RTX enablement within Octane, or somewhere else?

RTX with NVLink is available in 2020.1. 2020.1 is not officially released yet so you should not use it in a production environment.
The OctaneRender for Carrara plugin uses the same device settings as the stand-alone. So if you enable RTX in the stand alone you are also enabling it in the plugins. Having said that, with update 4 (RC2) of the plugin you can now enable RTX in the Device settings within Carrara. Open the render port, open Settings and then select the Devices tab. Click on the button to open the device settings. The device settings window is not a top most window so it can be hidden behind the render port or even behind Carrara itself. Use <Alt>-Tab to select it on Windows 10 or minimize the other windows.
