This is the recommended thread for downloading, and posting any questions, suggestions or support queries for OctaneRender for Carrara 2019.1.x.

This is the official stable Carrara Plugin release of 2019.1.5.

Carrara Version
Carrara 8.1 Pro (64bit) or later on Windows 7, 8 or 10 64bit

Nvidia Driver Version
Nvidia drivers 419.x or later

Network Rendering
For Network Rendering, you must use the Octane slave release 2019.1.5 available here.

If you have a support issue, please provide the following information:
- Operating System (ex. Win 7, 8, 10)
- Amount of RAM
- Graphics Card(s) - model (ex. GTX 580, 3GB)
- Nvidia driver version
- Carrara version
- OctaneRender for Carrara version (ex. 6.05.00.05)

The most important part of resolving a problem is me being able to re-produce that problem. So please provide as much detail as possible in order for me to do this, and if the problem is specific to the scene, send me the scene.

If you find a bug and don't report it then it will not get fixed.

Well, I was trying to upgrade to version 4, but didn't realize that that's different than the 2019 version, Installed the 2019 version for both the standalone and the Carrara plugin, then realized I couldn't turn it on because I guess it requires and All-Access subscription, which I don't have. That threw me for a loop because I thought the upgrade from version 3 to 4 was free, and I guess it is, but I guess version 4 and version 2019 are just 2 different things entirely. So I went back and downloaded the standalone version of 4 and had no trouble turning that on (automatically recognized me as licensed) but when I try to download and install the Carrara plugin for 4 it gives an error message that I already have a newer version installed. How to uninstall the 2019 version? Is it as simple as deleting all the octane files in the carrara extension folder?

Lol, I'm an idiot, sorry please disregard my post above, I figured out how to uninstall 2019 version all of 5 minutes later for those who don't know, just run the uninstall program for 2019 again, it will recognized that it's already installed and give an option to remove). How embarrassing...
