Hi Thomas,

Thanks for weighing in. Carrara will still be my mainstay, because even with its flaws, it is pretty efficient.

So I think I am getting a little toe-hold in Blender, but here is the problem.....when using Octane/Blender====crashes!

Blender without Octane, no crashes. Cycles is pretty good, and clearly more integrated. I would prefer to use Octane, but
do not have the time to figure out the crashes. So my first project with Blender will be with Cycles.

Actually, I think we need to acknowledge Simon for doing such a great job with Carrara. Pretty smooth these days.

What I am excited about in Blender is the possibilities. It is just wild, what some are doing with it.

Yes, Simon did indeed a really great job. I'd also abandon Carrara if there wouldn't be an Octane Plugin.
