Hi Sighman, Once again I am in your debt, it looks like it was the 2012 vc++ runtime, I downloaded it from the link you gave and 3.0.0.3 is now working - hooray!

Have an issue with previous scenes, but upon further read those are corrupt and can not be rendered in new ver. Was having an issue where as nothing would render. since the log files don't during crashes its a bit hard to provide info here normally. It would be good to have access to the log file in these cases.

There is a text file in the octane extensions folder that contains the log settings. Edit the file and uncomment the logToFile setting.

Edit: You can ignore the 'Could not pick materials' errors, I would suppress them if I could. The last three errors indicate an out of memory condition. Are you rendering volumes?

Made the change for logging. The scene in question has Gen3 with the free Asian face and worked in previous octane plugin. I did some volume tests earlier in the day but I also rebooted. I have opened other scenes and some of those older ver 2.x scenes work while others don't. Will do more testing.

How did you manage that?

Or do you mean Generation 3, like V3?

@Sighman, the sliders on the Render Target pop-out are a bit sensitive. A small click produces large change in most cases. Can we get numerical input.
