Hi Rick :)

Do you mean animation render from octane render settings rather than Carrara batch render?
I think you are looking for the following: animation output found at ....

Go to: EDIT/octane commands/open octane render window

Then selects open settings window (3rd icon out from left) and click on animation tab ;)

Hi Orion,
If I understand your meaning,,,,
I use Ctrl+Shft+R to get to what you are showing and it works great - when a Carrara file is already up.

Batch Queue is a different deal. No Carrara file needs to be up for it to load and render several .car files in sequence.
This can be really important for overnight renders of separate files.

Works for me!...or 'seems' to...it is completing each frame of the first scene file....waiting to see it moves on to the next scene file... How high are your samples for each frame per scene?

Final result on this quick test... (I did AVI but am sure PNG would be fine!) :)
User abort on first one as I wanted to try other scene files lol

Thanks for testing, ORion. Much appreciated.

Interesting.........I use sequenced .png exclusively.
Your steps were the same as those I indicated previously?

I Used these steps:
load file into Batch Queue
designate format and destination
select Octane Renderer from drop down
Launch

Also, please know that the Batch Queue did work for me with the previous, or prior to previous, version.

Finally, is it my imagination.....seemed that excluding load time for the initial first frame, render time for Batch queue rendering is slower than straight Octane rendering??

I think thats a human thing lol...just feels longer with multiple renderings going as you progress through the scene slower than waiting for a single project to com-plete/while it renders...building up the anticipation :P.... but if you do them one at a time....

Ok then.......its me!

Wonder what to check.
Could be, the squirrel in my computer needs feeding.
Maybe Simon will suggest a reload of the plugin?

Thank you again for testing. So good to know there are other CarraraOctaners out there.

Best,
Rick
