I'm upping the stakes regarding the post viewtopic.php?f=76&t=55268

So apparently a brand new 1080 Ti might surface in August.
There is a rumour about it and expected to be announced after the release of a Quadro on Pascal.
And there is the fact that Founders edition 1080's have been out of stock in all store in where I live. Custom or those ACX versions are still available though.

Really would love to see Tom quote on this.

I held myself buying a pair of 1080 for test but the Cuda 8 progress helped me stop buying it as soon as it is out.

Regarding the fact that all are rumours atm.
But the new Titan P(ascal) might have HBM2 memory and with more capacity. Which are blazingly fast then GDDR5Xs
I do not think that they would just leap to the hbm2 even though the gddr5x are new to us. But there is a very hard competition with AMD.
You never know...
