Good introduction tutorial for Octane for C4D?

I'm looking for a good introduction tutorial for Octane for C4D. So far I've only come across the one from inlifethrill, but to be honest it's pretty much unwatchable - painfully slow, akward, uninspiring. Any other suggestions?

I don't know what you expect but i suppose it's best and correct for technical information. Itself of plugin is very straightforward and easy to learn without any tutorial. Just some trial error is enough.

Those aren't options, I'm afraid. The first link is the guy from Inlifethrill whose voice and slow pace just kills me inside. And the second link is just a series of showreels at best. Simply trial and error isn't an efficient way to learn a renderer. I'd rather pay for a good tutorial than watch a zillion 5 min long ones free on Octane.

The reason the sound is like that is because it was recorded separetly from the video. it was done on 2 passes. Thus it came out robotic. I've taken note. Other than that - either live with it or just move on.

If my voice is what is stopping you from watching it - then you don't really want to learn anymore.

Thank you for investing your time and resources to make your octane tutorials. They are very high quality information, and very well structured. Surely no small task. I hope your efforts pay off, and please continue to make more.

There is definitely a shortage of octane training so we need all we can get!

Hi, inlifethrill tuts are amazing, and helped me jump into Octane very quickly.

After his series you can dive deeper yourself, this is a great quick-start.

To be clear... about my snide remark... :D it was aimed at obsoquasi NOT inlifethrill : > ))

I should just not be snide... I think the videos are great by the way and have benefited greatly from them.

good to hear the tutorial worked for some of you. It's simply not for me though. But hey, you can't please everyone, right? While my comment might well have been perceived as rude and offensive (I can totally see that), I would like to note that I do appreciate the effort you've put into making the tutorial, Inlifethrill! My comment was in no way intended to discredid that! Your teaching method and style didn't work with me, that's all. I could explain more, but I don't want to be more offensive that I might have already been.
