Hey everyone. I just installed the student version of octane (v1.2) and imgetting the "no CUDA GPUs" error and cant figure out why. Ive tried going throught the manual and doing what it suggests but thats not helping. I have a GeForce GT 970M (Compute Model 5.2) with the most current driver update. Any thoughts?

The student version of Octane doesn't support the 970m card. But there is going to be a new student version coming out after 3.0 get released here in May.

Hi!
I have actually the same issue as alongsketch, is the NVidia Quadro K2200 also not supported? Where could I find a list of supported devices?
Cheers&Thanks

Hi gooutdude,
unfortunately v1.2 cannot work with latest compute compatibility models, if I remember well should not be above 2.1.
Here you can find the list of all the nvidia cards:

I have also learned that new student version will be $9.99/month but I'm not sure what features it will include..

The license at 9.99/month is feature complete but limited to 2 GPU instead of 20 GPU for the full license.

So I need to pay $9.99/month now? And it includes standalone + all the plugins?

So plugins would be same price then? So I can buy the $9.99 a month and buy the plugin license and it would work?
