You could hand edit a scatter node, but that would not be fun at all. ;) You really need an external program to scatter your objects around the scene. The scatter values are just a table of numbers so you could write your own program? I use Blender's particle system to scatter geometry, it works really well.

grimm thanks for your reply.

Blender? Could you please help me and show how export particles data in to Octane Scatter Node?

May be this can be done in modo? For example export points to special format obj or something else.

As I understand scatter node working with xml format?

Dmi3ryd, I can try and help as much as I can. Did you want to use Blender to do this? I have no idea how Modo works so I won't be much help there. Do you have the Modo plugin? The Modo plugin forum would be the best place to get help on Modo. I can help if you wish to use Blender, as even without the Blender plugin you can still build scattered objects with the free exporters.
