It's quite apparent that the problems introduced with the latest drivers come from nVidia's RTX, DLSS and/or NGX technology.
What I don't understand is, since Octane is using some if not all of these technology, how can they "break" Octane with a driver update?

According to the feedback we had from NVidia there should be a new driver fixing the issue with the 418.x series sometime this week.
Take into account this does not depend completely on us so the best we can do is to let you all know when this become available.

I received a notice about v418.91 today - wonder if that possibly contains a "fix" for this incompatibility issue?

to report and FYR,
I actually experienced once GPU failure for the octane 4.02 with the driver 417.71, though only once, and after restart it is fine. the workstation contains 4 RTX2080ti

Well...it's Friday now, and I assume the nVidia technicians aren't working on weekends to fix drivers, right?
