The Random OSL Projection node alone is not enough, you also need to connect an Octane RandomColor node to the osl projection node to make it works, or connect the RandomInstanceColor.osl texture node, that you can find in the first post of this discussion.

Ok thanks for replay :)
For all who have issue with osl node:
I found solution, that it's probably blender thing and you must paste the code to blender file itself (in script thing) then osl script will compile and finally node show all options :)
I don't know why it is but my solution for this problem works :) And this is all I need :)

Would it be possible to retain xyz projection with this osl node?

- I'd love to plug it into octane noises and the like and still be able to retain the three dimensional nature of those in their xyz projection.
