Lua FFI library can be used to load ANY C library into lua, just like Python or JS Ctypes, and this could even be a C interface to Python itself.
Well it's pretty cool but it still requires knowing Lua to do this which I don't have any idea. I think there is no way I can start scripting for Octane by just knowing Python. I wish there was a way around that.
I don't understand why Otoy wouldn't support Python. Most of the visual artists are using Python in modelling packages. That would be huge for Octane!
