When you hook a script node that passes on an texture image to the environment texture node the importance sampling does not work. I'm not sure if it's something I'm not doing correctly or if it's a bug?

It's a bug in the CDF calculation, it breaks if the texture is inside another node graph. We'll fix this in the next version.
