alembic camera import: aperture settings

Does anyone know how I'll go about writing a script to set the aperture of an alembic camera import to zero?
I've noticed that when i import an animated camera into octane the objects are out of focus and this is especially troublesome when the objects are moving to and from the camera. I'd like to keep everything in the scene in focus and add depth of field in later in post.
I'll be happier if someone could write such a scrip for me as i know very little about lua scripting.

The alembic aperture is set when you export. You will need to change the aperture of your camera in your host app.

i did that, nothing changed.
On maya camera attributes there are two boxes right of the camera aperture label, the first one changes the field of view the other does nothing and the aperture setting on the octane tab has no effect on the exported camera.
Which setting do i change to eliminate depth of field when i import a camera into octane?

Hmm, I don't know about the Maya exporter. For me, I need to make sure my camera has zero aperture before I export the alembic file. If it is still exporting the aperture, ask in the Maya forums, it may be a bug or there might be something else you need to check. As far as I know, there is no way to change the aperture of an alembic camera in Octane.
