Hi Paul,

Is there an option to save the environment daylight ? (longitude / latitude / hour...)
Because I can save the render targets but even if I click on "save as default", I have to configure those options each time I open the autocad file.

Other thing, In the material tab -> diffuse -> RGB color.
When I want to add a color to the editor via the button provided, the color is added but not saved when I re-open the rgb spectrum window.

Thanks for your work.

Update on AutoCAD 2015 - it looks like there are issues with the plugin autoloader in AutoCAD 2015, which is preventing the Octane plugin for automatically loading - and Autodesk have flagged this as a bug, so I expect to see a fix for this in the first service of AutoCAD 2015. Until then the plugin can be manually run via the AutoCAD command line. If anyone upgrades to 2015, pls let me know and I will post a test build for you to try.

I had installed ACAD 2015 but as you say it has some bugs, not only with octane plugin, in my case with previus files saved with ACAD 2014, so I do not really used it, but I can use it to try the Octane plugin if you want it. Hope it not interfere with the previous version (ACAD 2014 and it's octane plugin).

Hi Paul,

Do you think it would be possible to render PolyFace Mesh with the plugin in the future ?
I would be great because it's difficulte to find good objects library in dwg for interiors' rendering.

Sincerely.

Other thing, in "viewport navigation controls", if I apply the first choice, I can't move or zoom.
This is working OK for me. MMB drag to pan. Roll the MMB to zoom.

Following is a first build for AutoCAD 2015.

http://render.otoy.com/customerdownload ... _64bit.exe

1.53.1.7
- Changes to enable the plugin to run on AutoCAD 2015. There is a bug in AutoCAD 2015 where the plugin icon is not appearing in the Addin ribbon, so you will need to use the OCTANERENDER command to start the plugin

You should use the AutoCAD sun - which will automatically set the Octane sun position. Does that solve your issue?

When I want to add a color to the editor via the button provided, the color is added but not saved when I re-open the rgb spectrum window.
You are right - and that is a limitation of using the standard Windows color picker. For the other plugins I have replaced this color picker with a "better" one, which I will do for the AutoCAD plugin. It does have "saving" of colors, but you can copy/paste the RGB node to do that.

I will look at this Monday. The plugin uses some code supplied by Autodesk to get the vertices, however with AutoCAD 2014 this code crashes, so I might need to log a support call with Autodesk.

Hi Guillermo. I'm not certain what you mean here. Can you provide more details pls? What does "does not work" mean?
