tcpsvcs.exe won't run...

Hello,
When I changed userdata to "GUID=something" and rebooted instance, the service does not start. Through RDP I can see in task manager that tcpsvcs.exe is not running. Why is that? Can I start it manually? Or what can I do?
Best regards,

Can you check and see if the "WebCL" service is started? If it's not, feel free to start it. Once it's started, you should see the tcpsvcs.exe processes show up in Task Manager.

I see the same thing, especially when instance is Stopped for decent amount of time (> 1 day)
in Windows Task Manager
WebCL Service
WebCL ConfigSvc

Both running. You can stop and restart them but tcpsvcs.exe does not appear at all in the list, as running nor stopped. Tried Rebooting instance, tried stopping, then forcefully stopping, then starting again. Same thing.

Manually strarting serveice worked... It had autostart delayed status, but never started... so I changed it to autostart without delay, and worked.

I have same problem, the tcpsvcs.exe process doesn't show up in the task manager. And so I am not able to connect to the instance through URL. Could you please let me know how to start this process manually?

Warm regards,

Basically the above problem is seen after migrating the AMI from a public subnet to a private subnet.

Thanks,

Did you include an internet gateway in the private subnet? WebCL currently requires an active internet connection in order to start.

g2.2xlarge now available in Sydney, Australia! Yay

But ergghhh same issues as above! Worked the first time, then Stop instance, and Start instance again and no tcpsvcs.exe running. WebCL.exe is running.
Anything else I can try?

I am facing the same issue. I am not able to find tcpsvcs in the task list. Also, it does not start at the command prompt. I don't know how to get the GUID. Please help. Thanks.
