As a Daz user, I say "Beautiful idea!"
But, this has limited use, and I'll tell you why - "ONLY STATIC MESHES ARE SUPPORTED".
You can't import an animation (FBX, ABC) and then shape the real-time flame from that animation, which leaves lot off the 'table of use'.
Now, what you can do is record a smoke sequence /cache interacting with a box and then export that to Octane, and then replace the box with a non-moving Daz statue and *hope* that the flame / smoke you made looks good. The light/shadow, though, will be computed from Octane, so it will interact with the figure correctly. But if jumping or swing a sword, no dice, the smoke plume will be that of the box, not the actual moving-shape figure. You would have to move a primitive mesh to approximate that. But again, you can't match a mesh to the moving figure in Daz and then import that mesh into Embergen because you can't import the mesh-animation in the first place, so you are gambling a little.
