Using Blender Octane 20.3 in Render Image after I try to save I get "Could not save image-permission denied error? I enabled read/write permissions but still get error.....I am able to save in Open EXR and Render Animation is working as well so I hope this is just a bug, has anyone else encountered this error while saving PNG's or Jpegs? BTW Thank you for the free tier as I really appreciate it!

I tried the new release for Blender 2.8 yesterday and render was very slow, basically as slow as Cycles itself, it didn't seem to be using RTX hardware accelaration at all. Is this a current limitation or is there a way to turn RTX on? Also, is multiGPU possible on this free tier for Blender?

Thank you.

RTX acceleration is still in experimental phase. Plugin versions will follow after RC/beta release.

Everything is working perfectly on the Windows machine, but on macOS I unfortunately get this error:

I don't understand what is happening since I'm using the same account as the Windows machine.
Any help?

Thanks :)

macOS version is asking for the Standalone and Plugin subscriptions/licenses, even for this free tier.
How to deal with it?

Thanks.

You need to hide the object that cuts the other in outliner.

well, it is bit of a PITA,
cycles, or renderman doesn't require any additional steps..
and I keep lot of my models "editable" (without applied modifiers) so they look bit messy in octane IPR
anyway, thx for the clue

I've been trying to use AO texture for ambient occlusion but it seems it doesn't work at all?
