Next OctaneRender v1.0 beta 2.5 release will work offline

Hi,

It's a pleasure to announce that the upcoming commercial "beta 2.5" release of OctaneRender will function in a new offline mode,
which allows use of all functionality of the software, except for liveDB online content browsing/use, on computers without an internet connection, in a new "offline mode".

An internet connection will still be required during the first installation and activation, and deactivation/moving of the license instance, and installation of new versions as they are released.

Refractive Software is approaching the first final release of it's OctaneRender product to be released in a few months.
The internet connection requirement has done it's job in protecting our software from piracy and allowing the company to grow during alpha and beta software development stages, and over the course of one year and 3 months, produce a solid, complete and well tested final product.

As OctaneRender approaches it's first commercial/final release, use of the engine in commercial industries requiring flexibility and private / secured networks becomes a requirement and therefore the new offline mode will be introduced and tested in our final beta versions during the next weeks.

We would like to thank all participants of still running open-beta program for their patience and continued support on our lively community forums.
Additionally, we will be announcing a key strategic partnership soon, and the addition of several new employees in the software development team at the company.

Yours,
The OctaneRender Team.

Awesome :D.
But i think that it would be safer if "You need to have a internet connection,to start the program, then you can turn on off line mode and then save it as an opening default".
Make sure there are no back ends with this offline mode, its the first thing the 13 year olds will pick at [crackers].

That's fantastic news on the offline mode. Great work guys.
I second the comments about Octane re-defining CG imaging. It's taken my imaging to a whole new level.
Can't wait for the official release, and I'll keep spreading the gospel of Octane. ;-)
