Not to mention that All-Access is not really all access. You don't get to use the C4D plugin.

This issue will be solved in the next license upgrade very soon.

I have to agree with Teknick up there, it is a mess and a nightmare for indie studios and freelancers.
Just finished a project with different artists with different accounts and we had to drop octane in favor of Redshift because we couldn't find a version to suit everyone and exchange project files accordingly.

Please make it easier. This is confusing, and a deal breaker for collaboration.

Plugins need to be sorted out too. E.g. poser plugin version 2019.1.0.95 (regular) now checks for updates and just refuses to authenticate itself, saying "please update". And there is no way to update since there is no regular version of plugin available to download.
The Poser plugin was available for Octane 2019.1.2 early October, so you should have an upgrade path. If you are on the Regular/Perpetual license, then you need to revert back to Octane 4.05 which I updated 2 weeks ago.

Thanks

any updates on this topic? for example when this will be introduced? :)

updated to 4.02 because daz 4.12 forced me to use it instead of 4.0 and seemingly networkrendering with more than 1 slave isnt working any longer in this version.... pretty sure its a mistake, still annoying to uninstall and reinstall older versions everywhere

Hi - there is an Octane 4.04 version of the DAZStudio plugin that you could use.

Very sad that my current license, All Access Yearly Subscription is no longer available and has been replaced only with $20 monthly single plugin version.

Hmm, i see Rent (proper term this time, thanks Otoy) and Buy options currently in my Login page.
http://prntscr.com/q3ecwx

But part i don't understand is are there option to have perpetual octane 2019.x version for us who payed AA after v4 upgrade and asked for perpetual and not rent. Goldorak seemed to hint that our entprise AA will be converted to perpetual 2019.x version, i Just don't see any option in my login page, maybe someone form customer service could explain us more in detail how that works now ?

I'd gladly pay for 2020 perpetual version + year of maintenance NOW (says 199 EUR pe rlicense - not seeing any BF discount there ?) but only if i know that I "got" 2019.x verison currently as perpetual when i payed AA for my 3 licenses after v4 upgrade...

Thanks

Hi Goldorak,

Last year I upgrade to 3-year AA that will give the rent to own with perpetual option. Will my standalone and 4 plugins that I own will revert back to a perpetual license at the end 2021. Now that we have Enterprise perpetual license will my current license for standalone and 4 plugins be converted? Can you explain what is my current license to perpetual situation now?

Eric
