Very well done !!!

I can see state of the art research been applied here !!!! ;)

However, are there any minimum hardware requirements like minimum gpu memory and cuda compute compatibility ?

As far as I know cudnn is not working with the old Fermi architecture cards like gtx 590 anymore.

I'm not so much used to standalone. I started using just from today and found it it will take me a while to learn the workflow. I am just waiting impatiently for the c4d plugin. Could anyone from the team give us a estimated time for plugin availability please ??

only standalone?

I need blender plugin.

Where is the a detailed explanation on pricing? im confused what the upfront cost gets you vs subscription.. is the monthly for cloud rendering? and does the monthly cost include unlimited renderering for x amount of gpus per month? or gives you x amount of credits? or you have to purchase credits on top?

thanks

I have a paid license, I downloaded the install link for users with a regular license but when I go to launch it says it could not find the required license and that either I have no subscription for this product or my subscription has expired.

I'm confused because I own a standalone license so I don't know why this isn't working. Does anyone know how to troubleshoot?

HI, I'm a subscriber to Octane 4 but the standalone crashes every time AI denoise is enabled. My system is win 10, GTX980.

Out of core geometry??

Otance 4

Out of core geometry

Can I use "out of core geometry" to cover system memory without a graphics card with lots of memory?
What is the performance degradation of using system memory?
Do not you have to use a graphics card like the Titan X to do big work in the future?

Out of core geometry uses some of your system memory for textures and now, for geometry too. There is a limit to how much system memory you can use, depending on which OS you are using, and for Windows, which version also.

Depending on the scene, you may see between 50% and 30% loss of render performance when using out of core geometry. As a consequence you will want to use as much VRAM as you can, since that will be the fastest to render. The system is designed so that you can render a scene that is larger than your VRAM if you need to.

???
2 gpus for free tier? should be 4 to 8 where 1 motherboard is full for free tier. how fast will octane 4 w brigade be with 2 gtx 780s? Also I hope the 2 gpu limit doesnt include one extra for the viewport/pc screen.

anyone alive on this thread?

I have a licensing question because I don't understand how it will be handled in Version 4.

Once upon a time I bought version 1 and upgrade to version 2 and 3. I just paid an amount of mony and was good to go until the end of all times. ;)

Will there be such a single priced upgrade to version 4.x too?

PS: I have a standalone license plus the 3dsmax plugin.
