Thanks for a great product first off. I am trying to take advantage of the combo upgrade. I put the 3 upgrade and one plug in in my card but did not get the combo prices. $144 is what showed up. Earlier today I also showed a free upgrade coupon that I did not know I had but that too has disappeared. I am sure I doing something wrong. If you could point me in the right direction I will give you my money. Thanks.

I've just tried to buy upgrade, but this note appeared:

It is highly recommended that you deactivate the license(s) you are upgrading before you continue with the upgrade process. Due to licensing changes, you will not be able to deactivate upgraded licenses via the Customer Area.

What does it means and what should I do with this?

I'm just working on my 3dsMax Octane, so I don't have possibility to deactivate licenses.

PLUS: How long 75$ combo upgrade will be available?

Hi kcpr-raffaEl,
v3 license system is completely different from v2 and ,since there were some issues in deactivation process, you have to consider it as a warning.
Anyway, you can deactivate your license by running the Standalone, going to Preferences/Account and clicking the "sign-out" button for v3 or "deactivate" in v2.

Thanks for super-fast answer!

I'm wondering if I'll be able to use my 3ds Max v2 license and two server nodes ?

I'm not planning to install v3 just right after purchase, because I have to finish my work with OCTANE v2 scene.
So the question is how this affect my ability to work with v2 plugin/servers.

Should I deactivate all v2 plugins/nodes and then after purchase reactivate them? Or just leave it until I install v3 version?

Hi kcpr-raffaEl,
I guess that if you are not going to use v3 in the next days, you can leave the things as they are for now. In the mean time the authentication issue with multiple licenses should be already gone and you will able to use v3 and v2 with no issue ;)

Hey guys - thanks for the upgrade promos!

I'm recently coming back to octane - I bought v1 a long time ago, and have been primarily in game dev the last several years. Anyway I'm needing both an upgrade from v1 to v3 + a fresh seat of the modo plugin (not an upgrade).

Anything you guys can offer as far as an upgrade and new plugin seat? If not it's cool, but thought I'd ask. Thanks again!

Can anyone give me details on the length of the promotional period?
I want to know when the cut-off is before I have to pay $45 for the stand-alone and $45 for the plugin.
I should have enough money to upgrade soon, but I want to make sure I don't miss out.

Thanks!
