Hello!
Some good stuff there! I can totally appreciate all the effort involved. Well done! My one bit of feedback is I think maybe adding some post motion-blur would give it a boost in realism. Nuke and After Effects both have pixel based motion blur. The newer builds of Octane have added motion blur as well I think. There is nothing like taking that leap into new technology and I applaud you for this. I did the same and it was a blast!
I'm the VFX Supervisor on the new scifi film "Space Station 76" which just premiered at SXSW. I happily used Octane as our primary renderer and couldn't be happier with the results. More details to come...but I was asked several times how big our stage model was. (the highest compliment you can pay any digital vfx artist) I'm convinced OctaneRender is from the future. Anyone see a big blue police box anywhere?
