Glad there will be a demo CAN'T WAIT

1) Will it render blender hair? Particles?
2) Will there be a linux version (even in the future)

I think I've just found a bug. The direction of UVs appears to be 90 degrees to the way that Blender is showing them. i.e. I unwrap a plank of wood so that the grain is going along the plank but when I render it the grain is across the plank. Obviously this makes accurately unwrapping objects impossible.

I will try to release it as fast as possible after new Blender releases. But you should understand, that I can be loaded by some other work right at the time of new Blender release (not me is who decides what I should do "right now" ;)). So, in this case - a little delay perhaps may happen.
Bad good news - there are still some little chance to have Octane open-sourced module included into official Blender trunk, if Blender Foundation will make such decision... And the more you will ask about it on different forums - the better proof it may be for Blender Foundation that it can make sense.
I absolutely understand their position right now - the Octane module is still young, it is still beta, it is unusable without closed-sourced server-counterpart... So, so far there are more than enough reasons for Blender Foundation to delay in making the final decision about it...

Thanks for the information JimStar.

The beta period lasts until the plug-in is in a very stable state and has no bugs, which takes up 1-3 months on average, depending on the complexity of the host application.

A real breakthrough in Octane usability for Blender users! ;) A huge thanks for that step!

But I would like to ask, like some others here - WILL THERE BE A LINUX VERSION IN THE FUTURE?

Thanks and have a nice day everyone!
