OK so I presume this 'Cloud Edition' is for the farms only.
So how will users make use of it? Will there be something incorporated in a future Octane UI or will there be a small app for that? Sorry if I am asking too many questions, perhaps I should just wait for the announcement ;)

There will be more details soon. In addition to the opening keynote, OTOY also had a 50 minute talk on Octane, Lightstage and Brigade at the GTC today (http://registration.gputechconf.com/quicklink/bp5lpqU) where you can get a lot of extra info. This session is recorded and should appear on Nvidia's website soon.

amazing!

Will this work with any version of Octane, standalone and plugin?

Yes, it will work for the standalone and all the plug-ins.

How will information be transferred?

Is it going to go based on projects? Such as, will I be sending a project file to somewhere or will I have to send hundreds of OBJ's?

Will there be some secure transfer method and access method so that files I use are not accessible by anyone else?

Amazing demonstration and great placement in the presentation.

Great news! $100 for 100GPUs/hour, sounds like a pretty decent deal when the time comes in a project where you need some raw power :) Do you have plans for releasing the Otoy cloud solution as a product in the future, letting people/companies setting up their own GPU clusters?
