Where do I see this setting? Or do you mean it will be in the next version?

In the options inside the render target root node (open the render target node editor and click over the root node).

I could not find anything in the docs about it. Pretty important for rendering models from CAD packages.

Got it running on 275 now, thanks Juanjo

I am working in the support of vertex normal maps, I hope to have it done soon, for the next plugin release.

Plugin now support vertex normal maps, to be tested in the next release.

Just been playing with the plugin tonight, on an old kitchen model I did years ago. Something that would be useful is support for Lightwaves Limited Region, when setting up textures. Is that a possibility do you think?

Currently Octane doesn't support render region, I hope to see this feature in the Octane SDK soon.

Here's that kitchen I was talking about. Let it cook overnight (excuse the pun), but my objective to try to get realistic reflections (blurred), and cuastic bounces. I'm very pleased with it. Although it did take me some time get my head around some of the texturing.

Sorry to come back on this topic Juanjo, is it possible to make some kind off slider setup (sorta like the property panel in oct stand alone) in the nodal view for easy selecting, inputting capability with upper and down limit where the input has no influence any more, also a range from 0 to 1 is very limited because you have to dail with decimals, is a valua between 0 and 100% not easier to work with?

I will change some percent values to be used from 0% to 100%, and also try to add limits to some values. It is not easy as it sound due some limitations on the LW SDK, who doesn't allow for example floating point sliders (AFAIK).

If it´s not a clear advantage over the standalone (the "North Offset" comes to mind), it´s best to choose the same value input.
This is very important if u want to use both extensive on a daily basis! :!:

You have to load a normal with the "Octane Texture Image" node and set the "node type" as "a Color Image" in order to work correct, the power controles the influence off the Normal map if i am correct...
