So far so good!!!
Now we need some network or distrituted render support to render full hd walkthrough animations.
Its not realistic to fire multiple copies of 3dsmax with octanerender plugin and the standalone render over 30 computers to get the job done!!!

Hmm I got one problem here. I tried this new version with the example demo scenes (available in the OTOY webpage). for RenderTarget PT and RenderTarget DL, the Octane can render. However, when I tried the RenderTarget PMC, it could not render, there's this error message below the preview rendering window : 0 Textures, 145577 Tris, 1 Meshes, GeForce GTX 285 (failed), 30.1/1745/2048 MB. (this is the spaceships.ocs demo scene)...

1.1 won't import mesh.
I am getting failed to load node:post processing error message

I use the lightwave exporter.
Now 1.0 will not work from lightwave any more.
It has worked flawlessly before installing 1.1

I can fire up 1.0 on its own and load file fine.

1.1 will not load files either way :(

If you get the error message "failed to load node:post processing" you tried to load a scene that was saved in a version higher than 1.00 (presumably 1.10) in an older version of Octane (<= 1.00). Please check the version in the title bar of the Octane application window that gives you the error message.

Cheers,
Marcus

It is a problem with the Lightwave Scene exporter.

If I save as a obj object and load in 1.1 as a mesh it works.

Is there a version of the Lightwave exporter that works with 1.1?
:)

It's more likely a problem with Octane since the current exporters should just work with any recent version of Octane. The next test release (1.11) will have a bug fix in the OBJ parser. Please try with that version, when it becomes available.

It would be even better if you could send us the exported scene that doesn't work so we could verify before we release that this issue is solved.

Thanks,
Marcus
