HI i currently run c4d r14 on windows 8 and use octane on 2 gtx 580s , ive been using cinema 4d for about 12 years to produce a wide range of media from architectural stills to full character animation, ive worked on full motion pictures for AVC in slough squeezing as much as possible from c4d. my company www.theexample.co.uk is currently producing a lot of 3d animation and stills for the medical sector which the main reason why ive moved over to the octane render platform, if you need any help testing id be happy to oblige.

Put me on the list if needed. We work with very large models in C4D (100m-1.5gb) - Animations - High Res renderings..

Currently running Quadro 6000 + Tesla C2075 when rendering in Octane.

Biggest gripe - The transport time from C4D to Octane. 8-)

Hi there,

Would be great to become a beta tester for OctaneRender for Cinema 4D, because I've been waiting for so long that the PlugIn for C4D comes true. I am working on Quadro 4000 and Windows 7 (C4D R 14).
I have been working as a freelancer since 2004. Please, check out my website
www.bruderdesign.de (sorry, german only. But images speak for itself;-)).

Hope to hearing from you!
Greetings
Samuel

Hi,

I'd love to test the Octane for Cinema plugin. I use Cinema 4d since 1997 and I am a beta tester for Cinema 4d since 2003. I could test octane under Mac OS Mountain Lion and Windows 7 with the latest release version of Cinema as well as the current beta. My main area is character animation, but I do a lot of motion graphic stuff as well. You can find samples of my work at www.studio-fabian.de.

Thanks!

Hi RayTracey.
Do you have plans of getting this plugin to work with Carbon Scatter and other similar tools that uses c4d instances. The exporter doesn't handle this at all, understandably. For me this is currently the only dealbreaker. I understand that this isn't top priority in this early stage but would be neat to know if there is any plans.

thanks

Yes, atleast Mray for c4d and Vray for c4d.

quote from carbonscatter.com website:
carbonscatter.com website wrote:Carbon Scatter 2 for Cinema4D works with the native renderer, and should work with all other renderers that are compatible with Cinema4D instances*. Such renderers include VrayC4D or m4d (mental ray for Cinema4D) for instance. * At this point, we cannot guarantee that all such renderers will work.

so there is no reason to don't work. We must try and approved with our plugin
