I'd be so happy to be a beta tester for the excellent OctaneRender plugin with my 4 years of Cinema4D experience, and would love to announce the results from my blog, www.barisatiker.com/9078

Thank you for the great effort and amazing results.

Hello,
I have "difficulties" to organize my photo shoot.
Sequence 3 of my next movie. Test Drive Abu Dhabi.
Organizing the spots, launching the app and starting ... and again.
I will be happy to move faster on this project.
I am a candidate !
Thank you.
Niuq.

We are a team of 3 people using Cinema 4D almost exclusively for our CG jobs and we use Octane as much as possible because of its immense speed and faster workflow compared to most other renderers out there.
We switched to version 14 (Studio) very recently and are using Cinema 4D since version 8, so we have a lot of experience with Cinema 4D. (Version 11.5-13 also available for compatibility to others)
We are also beta testers for Octane for a year now and bring quite some experience with us when it comes to using Octane (by far more than a year when including the time where we tested the demo).
For example we also did some changes to the Maya exporter plugin to fit our needs (changes posted in the maya forum), we got really into Octane in the past year and we are loving this awesome renderer. We were waiting for this news post since the 3Ds Max beta was announced. The integrated plugin really means a lot for our workflow and it means that we can finally ditch Vray completely!

If you want to see some of our work you can have a look at our website (not everything is 3D, we also do 2D Motion Graphics), it contains some stuff from the last 10 years up to the present:
http://www.mainframefx.com/www/works.html

Specially have a look at the advertisment for "Venta" it was done with Cinema4D and Octane (it's in the bottom right corner of the first page of the gallery, can't direct link it unfortunately)
Edit: Here the more recent version, I just saw the one on the website is from a production state: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B9VThca ... h5VGs/edit
I will try to find some more recent C4D with Octane footage that is not under some form of NDA and add it to the post tomorrow.
Please note that the reel on the site is very old, a new one is currently in the making and includes quite a lot of products made using Octane :)
The current one is from the "pre Octane era".

Edit2: Here are two animations not assoicated with any job. Though the bottom one had a successfull pitch, the corvette is a WIP for our new reel. Both were made in Cinema4D and rendered in Octane.
Click to watch (maybe scale the window, gets scaled heavily on big screens):

The car scene is missing some elements like smoke that are difficult to include via passes. With the integrated plugin we could finally render everything together.

We are using Windows 7 SP1 64bit on every PC. Every PC is equipped with atleast one "Geforce GTX 560 Ti 448" with 1280MB of VRAM each, one of those cards is pretty much on the performance level of a GTX570 because of the higher shader amount, so we are well equipped from the hardware side.

We are currently working on a commercial for a very well known US beverage producer using C4D and Octane and it would be a huge help to use the integrated plugin instead of the exporter for this job. We have to animate lights and cameras. With the exporter this is a rather painful job as lights aren't exactly possible to animate with the Octane Standalone so we have to use some unintuitive tricks to achieve animated lights.

If we get to be beta tester we will report every little detail we find, I (Paul) am very active here in the forum and will try to give bug reports on a daily basis and will collect feedback from the others here at the company. We will switch the beta license around the work places so everyone can have a go with it (if we happen to be lucky and get chosen for the beta).
Thank you for your consideration.

i'm a 3D artist with over twenty years of experience from Lightwave3D 3.0, cinema 4D 8, zbrush, and more.
I'm also trainer for cinema4D/LW 3D, and i use release 14.
I work in different environment and i can test plugin under win and mac.
I'm beta tester of 3d software from many years, but due NDA i cannot tell nothing about it (only the name, if you need).
I own octane render, when will be avaible i will buy lightwave plugin, and naturally cinema 4D plugin, and i develop some workflow to easely move character animation between these two software.
if you are interest, i'm here :-)

Hi,

My name is Sean Chen. I'm a C4D trainer in Taiwan, uses C4D since XL R6. My major working tool is C4D, Vray, Indigo Renderer and After Effects, also tried OctaneRender for a long time.

We have a professional C4D training team in China, translate and involve the Cinema 4D beta development many years. My co-worker Yan Ge is the first MAXON certified instructor, you can find more information from MAXON Computer. We decide to record a large commercial tutorial mention about unbiased render engines which are compatible with C4D R14 recently.

China is a huge untapped market, we can help you to boost the OctaneRender brand awareness in Chinese market. Maybe it is a good opportunity to join the beta test for us. When the final product is finished, we can disseminate it for you via our new tutorial. Other cooporation ways are welcome.

We understand the importance of privacy, so we've tried to use the highest technology to protect intellectual property right for our tutorials and our customer's products not to be attacked, so no worry about illegal copy being disclosed.

Here is my flickr album
And our commercial tutorial page(Simple Chinese)

cheers
