Hi all,

As the OctaneRender for Lightwave integrated plug-in is nearing beta phase and will be released in a few weeks as an ongoing beta-program product,
we would like to set up a small group of 5 experienced Lightwave users to help us test the new plugin product before we release it.

Please see this thread for more details on the progress of the Lightwave plugin which includes screenshots and videos: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=24959

We need 5 people who own a copy of Lightwave 11, currently for Windows platforms only, and who are experienced with its use, as well as being
experienced OctaneRender users. These people will need to be established/familiar forum users from our community and will have to sign a non-disclosure
agreement prior to becoming part of the beta group.

If you think you have what it takes, and would like to participate, please reply to this thread and introduce yourself and your experience with Lightwave
and OctaneRender Standalone.

We will pick the 5 participants once we have enough applicants. In return for your help in testing the new product, you will receive a free copy/license
of it, which you can keep when the beta testing period is over.

Cheers,

The OctaneRender Team.

Hi

i'm a 15 years experimented lightwave user: using actually a licenced version of LW11.03, i have a solid experience with octane standalone version and work with blender ( since 2 years) and maya 6.0 too ( since 10 years) ....I'm particularly interested with instances and rendering on lightwave.

You can see some of my works on the poser plugin topics ( the (wine) pictures was used for the poser plugin presentation page ), and i collaborated a lot with Paul ( the plugin developper, very pleasant and effective ) to make this plugin even better: a very appreciated collaboration, on both sides i think:

viewtopic.php?f=45&t=25678

I would participate with a great pleasure at this so awaited plugin for lightwave dev. ....

Regards

Vincent

PS: i work with 2 standalone licence of standalone version + 1 licence for poser plugin on:
-1 workstation with 2 x GTX580, win7 64, core i7 w2600k @ 4.5 ghz, 32 gb ram
-1 workstation with 2 x GTX470, win7 64, amd 1090T , 8 gb ram for command-line batch render
note: i use a licensed adobe Master cs6 for graphical works and video content creation and compositing, as it is my job...

Been using lightwave for 10 years...octane for the last year. Have the latest lightwave, and have eagerly been awaiting this plugin from well before it was announced.
Own a small production company doing everything from animated intros, to filming documentaries with our epic, all the way to archviz.

Experienced in maya as well....8 years, and fusion for 7 years. Expert in AE and PPro

System has dual 470's and a quadro 2000, and a red rocket just to complicate things

Looking to push octane/lightwave connection.

I have a personnal licence of ligthwave 11 too, with an upgrade of LW 11.5 as soon as it will come.
I would like to participate at your tests on lightwave octanerender engine , in which I strongly believe. It would be an honor to work with you, and envolve my experiences with this collaboration.

Attached, you can see the very last picture i did (yersterday. it s not the final render yet) for a famous advertising company in france (full lightwave production in 3 days)

I would like to be included in the beta program. I own Lightwave 11.0.3 x64 and Octane Render x64. My hardware is 2 x GTX680 with 4GB RAM. I've been using Lightwave for 10 years. I have a degree in computer science so I have a good technical background. I'm comfortable with working inside Octane. I plan to produce all of my ongoing and future projects using Octane render. Beginning next year I will expand my system with two more GTX680 cards after new motherboard arrives. Check out my work at http://www.borisgoreta.com/

Do you have all of your testers yet? If not, would you consider me? My name is Rob Callicotte (rcallicotte on the forums here and on the Newtek forums) and I will have some time free to test. I own LW 11.0. And I bought the Octane license at the very beginning. I have a 64-bit OS (Windows 7) and a somewhat hefty machine.
