Hi,

white smoke was leaving our office as we finally released our first blogpost on the Octane Render news blog.

On this blog you will be able to follow our progress with Octane, new releases, announcements, tutorials and competitions. You might also find some of our exciting in-house tests of features that are in development (and close to be released) on there, like we did with instancing. Make sure to bookmark the blog if you want to stay in the loop of this extremely fast moving and thrilling technology.

Octane users are encouraged to provide content for the blog as well: If you have any tips and tricks on how to exploit an Octane feature in a previously unthought-of way (e.g. using the scatter node to create fur) that you want to share, send us an explanatory text with illustrative pictures and/or videos and we will feature it on the blog after review.

I think every mesh is exported as a single mesh and only the transformation matrix of the affected meshes is updated or why it is so fast?
