EDIT: These positions are now filled:

Hi all,

We have chosen 5 candidates and will commence our private beta tests.
The candidates will be contacted privately. ( please check your PM boxes)

Many thanks to all who offered to assist with the private beta test.
For the rest of you, don't worry too much, the plugin product will be available very soon to everyone.

Yours,
Radiance

--------------------------

Hi all,

We are proud to announce the availability of another new product, similar to our recently made available 3ds max and maya plugin products, but this time for Autodesk/SoftImage XSI.
As the software is nearing beta phase, and will be released in a few weeks as an ongoing beta-program product, alongside the 3ds max, Maya and standalone versions of OctaneRender(R), we would like to setup a small group of 5 experienced XSI users to help us test the new plugin product before we release it.

We need 5 people who own a copy of Autodesk XSI 2011 and/or 2012, currently for MS Windows(TM) platforms only, and x64 only, and who are experienced with it's use, aswell as being experienced OctaneRender(R) users.
These people will need to be established/familiar forum users from our community and will have to sign a non-disclosure agreement prior to becoming part of the beta group.

If you think you have what it takes, and would like to participate,
please reply to this thread and introduce yourself and your experience with XSI and OctaneRender(R) Standalone.

We will pick the 5 participants once we have enough applicants.
Note that new people/unfamiliar people need not apply as they won't be chosen.
In return for your help in testing the new product, you will receive a free copy/license of it, which you can keep when the beta testing period is over.

Yours,
The OctaneRender(R) Team.

Good to see rapid progress in developing more plugins.
Plugins are good for users but also good income generators for Refractive too ;)
...and more income = more developers hired  we hope :D

Finally:-D I have been checking the forum day and night for this since the plug-ins where announced.

Well, im probable not the most experienced or known person here, but should I be chosen i do have a lot off time on my hands to test the plug-in. I have several projects already rendered in octane, but cant post any because of client privacy, I can send you samples on mail if wanted.
Softimage user science 2008 and mainly work in arch viz.

I am willing to participate in testing.
Great experience XSI.
I am very interested in the use of plug-in conjunction with ICE
The possibility of integration into XSI shaders
I want to use plug-Octane for combining streaming video and 3D
I participated in beta testing V-ray for XSI.
I'll be glad to help you.
Thank you.

Hi,

We have not had anyone present himself with solid intentions to develop a C4D plugin product yet.
This is very foolish as it's definately a gold mine.
If anyone still is interested in licensing the plugin SDK to develop one, you you want to advertise this on C4D development-centric forums,
we might be able to have one soon.
