The OTOY team is so excited for the upcoming SIGGRAPH 2019 conference. We're pleased to announce that we'll be inviting the Octane community to share their work to be featured on our 12K Display Wall at the OTOY booth!

20180814_112701_wide.jpg

We’re looking for:

  • Videos in PNG16 sequences or uncompressed format (1080p or 4k with a 16:9 aspect)
  • MP4 preview submissions would be great and we will reach out for the PNG16 file sequence if selected
  • Stills (12k by 6k PNG ideally or a 16:9 aspect ratio - those could be upscaled)
  • ORBX files for live demo purposes within the OTOY Booth

Please do not add any logos or text on top of the image(s).

To share the work, please sign and upload the consent and release form (you must own the rights to license the work for display) and add the images to our Dropbox folder.

Link to download consent and release form:

Link to upload content files and signed release form:
https://www.dropbox.com/request/cTQdc5z9WEdRXnv8LFub

We cannot guarantee that all works will be featured, but greatly appreciate any submissions. Selected videos, stills and orbx files will receive RNDR credits. Videos may also receive license extensions/upgrades. If you have any questions about the submissions, please email [email protected].

Thank You,
OTOY Team

Says "You have until July 23, 2019 08:00 Central European Summer Time to upload files." on the upload link

I wanted to render my Acura Interior but 12k*6k is insane resolution, one frame on 4 GPUs will take me 8-9h to render so i gave up :(.

I make pretty trippy geometry visuals, not sure if it's the style you're looking for but if you like it I'd definitely take the time and submit some!

Isn't that the whole point of just giving Otoy an already 'renderable' scene as an ORBX - so they can render it themselves ?

I think that's what I'm going to do...

Not really, that is just one of options, check other 3 options.

Also not all content can go, it was commercial project and model is expensive so i can't just give them model but renders are different story.

Hi!

I have just loaded 2 projects. I hope there's no issue to send more than one project.. :D

However I was wondering: how are you going to contact us if you are interested in our artworks's PNG sequence version?
I haven't found any area in the form where to leave email addresses.... :?
