Runtime error

Paul,

I can't get our model to consistently load as I keep getting the attached error.

I've tried with different view over rides.

Also happens when I try to reload geometry with a view open.

If I close Octane and then re-open it will lock the computer when I try to open view port again. So I have to close down Revit.

I've removed all instances of external geometry and unloaded Revit links. But keeps happening. Not sure what to do.

Cheers,

That error is indicating that Octane failed to start rendering the rendertarget the plugin provided. Suspect areas are running out of VRAM, or too many triangles.

If you go into the plugin Devices tab and click the Octane Log button, are there any errors?

When you are able to load the scene and start rendering, how many triangles are reported in the status bar at the bottom of the Viewport? Also, how much VRAM is used/available whilst rendering?

What is the Configuration Max Number of Polygons set to?

What graphics card do you have?

Thanks

Paul

GTX 980 with 11 titans over network

settings stats attached

Generally never more than 8-9m polys per view depending on how diligent I've been with applying view templates. Plenty of vram left over..
