Revit Crash and Multiple Users?

I have two questions. First, everything was working fine last week when I was running a few test renders. I have a Dell R5500 with dual six cores, 32GB of RAM, a Quadro 600 and a Geoforce 750 ti. Late in the week I started having issues where the 600 seemed to be shutting down. I switched over the the 750 and the problem seemed to be solved. Today I went to run my first "for real" rendering and Revit would crash every time I tried to open Octane. Nothing else has changed.

Second question. I installed Octane as the "Admin" user but was trying to use it logged in as a "local" or "standard" user. I got the message "cannot find octanerender.dll". How do I get around this? I do not want to run this box as Admin all the time.

Thanks

Double check your NVIDIA drivers, make sure you have the latest drivers (especially if you have just updated the plugin).
Get the latest quadro and GTX drivers.

Does it run ok when you login as admin?

A little additional information:

I pulled the Geoforce card to be sure that was not the issue. I'm running Nvidia driver 341.05 (Now on just the Quadro 600). Revit is still crashing every time I try to open the plug-in. Should I try removing Octane and reinstalling?

I also tried running the file on an identical box that has the demo version loaded and it ran just fine...other than half of my manufacturer produced content (systems furniture) didn't show up.

Is that the exact message you are getting (since I'm not aware of any file called octanerender.dll). Would it be possible to post a screenshot pls?

Also, if Revit crashes, it should post some diagnostics into the journal file. Can you pls post this journal file (see http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=42589&p=204335#p204335 for where the journal file can be found).

What version of Revit are you using?
What release number of the plugin are you using?

Thanks

You need Nvidia driver 344.x or later as per http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=42589&p=204335#p204335.

Paul,

I'm running Revit 2015 with Octane Plugin 2.06.

Yes, I believe "missing file octanerender.dll" was the exact message. Let me log back in and give it a shot.

I'm running Revit 2015 with Octane Plugin 2.06.
It is worth a) updated your cuda drivers to 3.44 and b) Updating to the latest TEST release of the plugin (http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=42589). If you still have issues - pls post the journal file and I will take a closer look.

As a side note, I looked and could not find the journal file? I do not have an Appdata folder that had anything to do with Revit or Autodesk I could locate, even after doing a search on the C drive.
