Hi

I use revit for modeling, then I link to 3ds design and render via the octane plugin.

It would be nice if I could add furnitures as families in Revit and then render view in 3ds design, without having to add furnitures in 3ds design.

Does anyone in here have experience with high quality furniture in Revit?

I have some ok furnitures in sketchup that I would like to use as famlies in Revit, but how is it best done?

I have tried to import the sketchup file into revit, but i looses textures. And I if explode the model for textureing, some elements disappears :-/

Thanks :-)

Hi JNDesign

If I link Revit to 3ds design, I normally use "combine by textures" so I guess this is not possible or?

Where in the plugin do I find the proxy link?

Thanks :-)

Details of rendering proxies in the OctaneRender for Revit plugin are at render.otoy.com/manuals/Revit/?page_id=449.
