Atelier ArchViz

Hello everyone,

It has been a long time since I posted here.
Graduate in Architecture, I work for nearly 13 years, and today I would like to work in architectural visualization.
But for this, I must progresses, because I am well aware that I have big gaps.
I will post here my WIP, for your advice and criticism.

This first scene was modeled on archicad. My goal, not only on this picture, is to progress rendering and post-production. What would you change in the rendering, and what would you add in post-production?

This image is an octane rendering, from C4D + post-prod. I used an HDRI sky for lighting (from HDRMaps.com)

Hello,

I continued to work on my rendering.

Change the framing to see less pavement and more sky. Change of HDRI for lighting.

Unfortunately, it's not finished. The computer crashed during the night, so I restarted the calculation this morning, and as it was not finished before my departure to the office, I made a screenshot (which explains the noise), Plus a postprod transition.

Compared to the previous one, this one offers a more realistic light, right?

But what a hassle with Octane is that my Mac Pro crash regularly when I run the calculations. And for now, I can not afford to change computers.

What's wrong now is what's going on behind the bay window, it's too fake, right?

Hello,

For the sky, and the overall brightness of the scene, I'd like to get to that result, using an HDRI sky.
But I still can not adjust Octane render, so that the HDRI sky is not overexposed, (and therefore see the sky and not the white mass on my rendering) while maintaining sufficient overall illumination.
Is it possible?

For information, for scene lighting, I used an HDRI image by Peter Guthrie, the 1859v3

Do the sky in PS or if you want it in render then you can use highlight compression, better still is to start off with your Environment only and adjust the exposure first. then add your extra lights/sun...
