Hey all,
I just uploaded a new version of my skin shader for Octane 2.0. It now has displacement. I also optimized it a bit for speed and ease of use. If you build your models to real world scale, and plug a color texture into the "Color" slot with the gamma set to 2.2, it should just work.
I attached a small image of test renders of a model that is a work in progress. I started this model with a scan of myself I generated using my Kinect. I cleaned it up and sculpted details, as well as textured it in ZBrush. I have not tweaked any of the specular maps, but I am pretty happy with the result so far. On to the eyes next.

Hi Tony..

that very much for your contribution! i love your work..may i ask is the updated one called "tonysculptor Skin2" ? it does not show any "r20" in livedb.

The latest version may have not yet shown up in the db. I uploaded it last night, so it should be there soon. It is not the one labeled tonysculptor skin 2- it will have "R20" in the name. I will try to edit the older names for clarity

Another test render. I worked out the spec and added proper eyes. Hair is soon to come.

I used Lee Perry Smith's model (AKA Infinite, http://www.ir-ltd.net/), but I adjusted the scale for proper rendering.

Is it possible to do this under Poser plugin?
I can't find a place under the plugin to put diffuse/color map

Wow, this is cool. Thanks now I can get a good look at your scene setup. This will be a very great contribution for those of use who have been struggling to achieve your realistic skin.
