different glass material AC vs MODO

i get these refraction artifacts in AC vs MODO. this is the same AC scene exported and rendered in MODO (AC object attached).

if (in AC) i select 'Specular' as a material, does this 'reset' the material and apply an Octane override or is this still some kind of 'fake' specular material?

or maybe it's something to do with smoothing?

both the above are PMC renders but it's the same with PT or DL.

Hi Dingbat,

Seems to me to be a matter of Ray Epsilon. I usually set this to 0,001.
