Cuda error 999 on Windows 10

Hi,

My system:

- Windows 10 Pro
- 64 bit
- 32GB RAM
- GTX 980 4GB
- Nvidia 441.87
- i7-4790K @ 4.0 GHz
- ArchiCAD 19.0.0 7006
- OctaneRender for ArchiCAD 3.08.0.83

Recently I went for Windows 10 and have a hard time now to make OctaneRender work.
No matter which previous Nvidia driver I use, I get an error in CUDA Log:

CUDA error 999 on device 0: unknown error
-> failed to link to cubin
device 0: failed to compile OSL code:
error : Undefined reference to 'cuGeo' in ' '
error : Undefined reference to 'cuParams' in ' '
error : Undefined reference to 'TRANSFER_XYZ' in ' '
error : Undefined reference to 'cuXyzToRgbMatrix' in ' '
error : Undefined reference to 'CYAN' in ' '
error : Undefined reference to 'BLUE' in ' '
error : Undefined reference to 'GREEN' in ' '
error : Undefined reference to 'MAGENTA' in ' '
error : Undefined reference to 'RED' in ' '
error : Undefined reference to 'YELLOW' in ' '
error : Undefined reference to 'cu_cam' in ' '
error : Undefined reference to 'cuQueues' in 'cuda_texturenode'
device 0: failed to compile module 0

How to make Octane Render work, please?

Marek

Hi. I think your OctaneRender for ArchiCAD plugin version is too early for the latest NVidia drivers. I suggest updating to the latest release of the plugin.

Thanks

And how to make it work on ArchiCAD 19?

Thanks,
Marek

I'm sorry - but only the last 3 versions of ArchiCAD are supported by the plugin (so ArchiCAD 21, 22 and 23). Support for ArchiCAD 19 was dropped almost 2 years ago.

I'll be back! ;)
Before I splash out 2500 € on AC upgrade, just to render inside AC, I'll deal with Blender to render.
Not so direct, but not bad at all after checking the working path - save as 3DS, import in Blender 2.79, then open in 2.81.
