Thanks Daniel for your reply.
So there is an improvement in matters of network teamwork.
So far we only have one PC with 2 TITAN Pascal and a quadro and we are planning to get a 2080Ti. The network upgraded function is not usefull to us for the moment.

If V4 will not support RTX then the upgrade is obviously one way.

I have to check the interface for the material preview function that you are refering to.

I will try to install tomorrow and check.
Any info for the new rendering options?

Thank you.

Hi Paul,

do you have an idea on when you can release the ArchiCAD Plug-in for the final 2018.1 Octane release?

Cheers, Dan.

I have posted the next Octane 2018.1 build at https://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=71059. If there are future Octane 4 builds, they will still be posted in this thread.

Thanks

Hi Paul,

Will be possible in the future to have an Archicad 23 add-on for OctaneRender 4 ?

Thanks,
Victor

Hello, I have version 4.0, there are no tests for it in the benchmark with rtx cards. I want to buy an rtx 4080, will the octane 4 version work with this card?

I am not sure - sorry. My best guess is "No", you will need the latest 2023.1 version. But check in the "Hardware" forum here.

I tried to run the render from another computer with 4060ti, it doesn't work. What should I do? all my work has been based on this render for 10 years and there is still no good alternative to this render for archicad, but I can neither buy it nor update it, even support does not work, the page does not open because I am from Russia. I am completely satisfied with the functionality of the 4th version, but my video card is already outdated, but if I change it, I will not be able to work

I am sorry, but this is a compatibility issue between Octane and your graphics cards, and is out of the scope of the plugin support that I provide. I suggest you contact OTOY via the Support menu option at the top of this page.

Sorry I cannot be more help.
