VR Export HTC VIVE

Good evening,

Is it possible for someone to describe the process of exporting a panorama picture (360) to HTC VIVE.
What are the settings at the plug in that makes this possible and what is the export format?

Are we going to need any other app or software to process or play this photo (or video).
We are using the Virtual Desktop from Steam to play 360 videos or panoramas but should we use something else that is compatible with Octane.

Thank you in advance for the support.

Hi - this is a general Octane question, so may I suggest posting it in the Octane Standalone 3.05.3 Standalone thread, or in the OctaneVR forum.

Thanks

I know Guy (Dev of Virtual Desktop), we even granted him permission to use Octane VR renders (like the forest godrays stereo cubemap). Last I checked Virtual Desktop can load Octane stereo cube map renders as-is.

Thank you for your answer.

I am setting the camera at Panoramic mode and the Projection at Cube map and I save a png file, which is not loadable it the Virtual Desktop at the 360 picture tab.

Obviously I am doing something wrong here.
Really appreciate if you could give a help.

With regards.
