Hi Paul,

Is it possible (or in future) to change the InfoChannels Kernel default.
i.e. I want to render MatID, but everytime switching form DL to InfoChannels Kernel
it starts with Wireframe. It would be nice to set your own default for that one ;-)

greetz,

Hi Jeroen - it's not trivial to set defaults for nodes which are no part of the default rendertarget (since the InfoChannel Kernel node is not present in the default rendertarget loaded by the plugin). The vast majority of InfoChannel options are now covered by Render Passes, so I have been enabling those render passes rather than switching kernels. So you could enable the Material Id render pass and then Save as Default that rendertarget - then the Material Id would always be present, regardless of the kernel you are using.

On man... my brain is not working 100%... I forgot a moment about the renderpass and saw it at almost this same moment and was to add it here...
...you are too fast for me.
thanx though.
