Release notes for 2.20.0.36 are:

2.20.0.36
- Fixed issue when input from the LocalDb was not working for materials downloaded from the LiveDb
- Compiled with Octane 2.20 (see Octane Standalone for details)
- Added Polygon Side texture node (see Octane Standalone 2.14 release notes for details)
- Fixed issue were Save As Default was not working
- Any embedded texturemap files found when importing an ORBX will now be extracted into the LiveDb texturemap folder

I have held off increasing the texturemap name length from 50 for the moment, since it relies on changing the format of the "default material" files, and some irregularities with this approach have been uncovered on one of the other plugins, so I want to get it working flawlessly before implementing this in the AC plugin.

Paul,

Thanks a million!
Just one hour was enough for you to fix that!
All is fine now.

Cheers,

Paul,

I've happened to notice one thing.
Tried to assign a grass material from DB, called Grass with flowers to my AC texture and experienced a black screen and then NVIDIA Open GL Driver error window as attached.

Print Screen 2015-02-03 09.59.54.png

Archicad was closed but didn't generate a bug window as usual only a RPT file, not able to attach here.
Other DB materials work OK, so I didn't bother to search Nvidia site for that issue.
The message below says that "Driver stopped responding and has recovered".

Hi Marek. That material has displacement - which I suspect if causing your video drivers to timeout (see question 4 at http://render.otoy.com/manuals/ArchiCAD/?page_id=274), since that LiveDb material worked OK for me. If you install Octane Standalone 2.16 from http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=44074 it should make the appropriate registry setting changes to fix this.

Hi Paul,

I've got already Octane Standalone Edition version 2.20 installed.
Should I downgrade it to v.2.16?

You need to run any Octane Standalone installer. It's the installer which updates the registry settings. If you installed from the ZIP archive that doesn't happen - you need to run the installer EXE.

OK. You'll need to do some experimenting then if you want to use that Liveb material. Try applying to an empty scene with a single slab and opening the Viewport. You could also try setting the displacement amount to 0.00001 and open the Viewport. Your graphics card and other hardware is superior to mine, so you should be able to use that material. If all else fails, set the displacement to 0, open the Viewport, save to ORBX and send me that file (indicating the material name with the grass displacement material applied).
