Happy after I've bought the special price combo.

When the OctaneRender® for ArchiCAD 3.00 stable version is going to be released?
And what are the major differences compared to 2.00?

The Octane 3.0 features of the plugin are detailed at https://docs.otoy.com/#60Octane%203.0%20Features

A STABLE 3.0 plug release is probably a few weeks away.

Thank you Paul,

- No idea what those new features are all about, most promising for me is the word - "Overhaul..", though.
If it means even faster and better rendering, that's all I need to know to justify my upgrade purchase.

Hi Paul,

If I use the ArchiCAD Photorender Projection (with OctaneRender settings ofcourse)
then, after closing the )ArchiCAD Photorender Projection) Window,
the OctanRender Window reappears, and does work normal.

But when using the Publisher Sets (for batch rendering)
after closing the) ArchiCAD Photorender Projection) Window,
the OctanRender Window reappears, but does not refresh anymore.

edited: Rendering just one with ArchiCAD Photorender Projection after having used the Publisher Set,
makes the OCtaneRender refresh again!

Hi Jeroen - does clicking Refresh on the Viewport after doing a Publisher Sets batch render also fix refreshing?

Hi Paul,

No, refreshing does not work.
(And as a workaround that takes longer then just render one visual with ArchiCAD Photorender Projection)

Jeroen - could you pls get the plugin to a state where it will not update using a tiny scene, and then export the scene to ORBX and send it to me? The export to ORBX needs to happen whilst the Viewport is in a state where it is not updating.

the OctanRender Window reappears, but does not refresh anymore
What do you mean by "does not refresh" pls?

Thanks

Hi Paul,

I will send your a file later on.

After the Archicad batch has finished the last render,
The OctaneRender Viewport reappears, but the it is frozen
and it does not refresh (changes) anymore when change the camera in ArchiCAD or otherwise.

Are the render statistics increasing and the viewport updating with cleaner images? Yes, pls send me the ORBX resulting from this.

I have updated the installer at the top of this thread with:

3.1.1.63
- Compiled with Octane 3.01.1
- Added new authentication settings window which can be used to activate, and de-activate the plugin
- You can now disconnect the Medium from the Environment Medium pin
