A small amendment/fix to the above test build:

2.12.1.27
- Fixed issue where grass and scatter instances were not being placed on thin triangle polygons from round ArchiCAD Mesh objects
- Fixed issue where the "Loading Scene into Octane...." status window was not being displayed
- The "You can only write to an ABC file which is not currently in use..." error message is now displayed prior to calculating grass blades
- Added CSV button to the Materials tab which will produce a CSV file containing all the transforms for the Objects that are the same type as the selected Object
- Fixed issue where texturemaps were being reported as missing if they were on a folder mapped a drive letter

Hi Paul,
When rendering animation and having 'rebuild scene.." not on.. it does load the scene anyway for every frame?!

Hi Jeroen. "Rebuild Scene" should not effect rendering animations - it only effects if the scene is reloaded when you change the currently selected AC view. If you have the Viewport port (or have closed the Viewport but left the Setup window open), rendering to the Photorenderer will pick up the scene currently loaded in the video card - so will not load the animated geometry. Close the Setup window prior to do a Photorender to cause the scene to be reloaded.

Does that answer your question?

I have refreshed the installers at the top of this thread with:

2.12.1.29
- Fixed issue introduced in 2.12.1.28 preventing the Photorenderer from opening when "Fast Cache" was enabled
- Includes the changes in 2.12.1.25 - 2.12.1.28

I have refreshed the installers at the top of this thread with:

2.13.0.30
- Compiled with 2.13. See the Octane Standalone 2.13 release notes for important changes made in this release
- IMPORTANT: Requires Cuda driver 344.x or later
- Photorendering now displays the current and max samples, and the elapsed to estimated total time
- Add Lock Aspect Ratio checkbox to the Resolution node info. This defaults to OFF each time ArchiCAD is started

Hi Paul - for me, number of samples is incorrectly reported in progress indicator dialog (or my selection is actually being ignored or overridden by Octane somehow). If I select 800 max samples in kernel, render dialog reports the total samples as 300.

Perhaps that is behind the reported speed increase? :)

The max samples setting is being displayed correctly. Perhaps you have a different rendertarget set in the View combo box in the Photorender settings?

I have refreshed the installers at the top of this thread with:

2.13.0.31
- Slightly changed the Photorendering status display format
- Keeping texturemap filenames unique in the Export Assets function is now optional. If you answer Yes to this, all texturemap filenames will be changed to ensure the same filename from different directories are not merged.
- Added ability to load and save materials from the Octane Standalone localDb (.orbx format).
