Vases collection + Scene files

Collection of tall vases by ASA. Thanks to DiS. Dušan Uruba and Flyingarchitecture.com for the model ;)
The noise in the black and white is added in post, render cooked up to 24'000 samples in 2048 by 1024px with filtering on

At first I wanted to do specular materials but I got too much fireflies, I will wait MLT and re-render them
Its just glossy materials, 0 reflectivity (still fresnel) and 200 roughness. The color spectrum is done by eye so its not perfect

If you want to try the scene read the instructions below
Notice that you can't have the exact same result than me
I used some post-production on both images
Its very subtles adjustement to white balance etc...

You need to open the .OCS file with a text editor and change the lines that link to the .OBJ + .HDR + .MTL
Do a research in the file to find the correct lines. Replace the file path based on where you opened the zipped scene
For example "C:\Users\username\Desktop\Vases\" When its done the scene should load correctly !

Mesh: vases_collection.obj 11'873 KB
HDRI: studio_hdri_metric.hdr 5'001 KB

Camera position: 0 / 0.25 / 3.5
Camera target: 0 / 0.25 / 0
Field of view: 40
Aperture: 0

Default render size: 1024 by 512

You are not allowed to re-upload or share this scene
The credits to the models should always go to DiS. Dušan Uruba

Nice clean studio render, I more like the colored one, for a porcelain manufacture advertisement.

Cheers mib

very nice ;)
Did you use a gaussian spectrum for the coloured ones ?

can you make one with very shiny roughness ? eg the maximum?

Thnx,
Radiance

The spectrum is done by eye
I picked rgb colors that's it

I could make one with very shiny roughness but the render time was so high
I don't have the time to do it now :(

Updated my first post
I uploaded the scene + instructions

If you want to post results:
Setup samples to maximum
Run Octane for 10min
Post the number of samples after 10min + MS/s (approx)

:D
