Lines flowing around Sphere

Is that dynamic hair and you moved the sphere as a rigid body through it?

yeah I think so, I if remember correctly A little setup that takes any mesh and alters the direction of the particles to flow around it. And then trail the particles path to create the lines ( made in Houdini )
