I will use this thread to post my work.

Here is a render of my character Miho.

Thanks for taking a peek :) .

The skin and hair shaders are my own custom shaders. I am constantly tweaking them as I learn more.

Cheers, Rajib

BTW, you can even use the 3DC preset environment HDRs in Octane, they are under the 3DC program folder (not in documents) in Temp/panoramas_ggx2 (at least with GL version).

They are in .dds format but you can convert them to EXR or HDR free online at
https://www.manticonvert.com/

My latest work with my character Miho. I am using my own custom skin and hair shaders. There is no post work done to enhance it in any way. The scene is lit by a HyperfocalDesign HDRI

Another of my latest render of my character Miho. Lit by a sunset VHDRI from hyperfocaldesign.com. I did not use linear workflow or whitebalance and let the light tint the scene. My own custom skin and hair shaders. All the elements on the scene have their materials enhanced (grass, flower, trees, horses) or completely replaced (Bench, bicycle, dress).

Another render of my character Miho. This one was fun to do. There are a lot of emissive lights on the scene plus a HDRI. Some were actual emissive lights and some were emissive lights I created by masking out parts of the diffuse texture maps (those orange / yellow lights above each panel). The explosion is rendered too as are the embers, smokes and some dust floating in the air (though could have done better I think). There is no post work on the scene. The scene was set up in Daz studio and rendered via the Octane plugin.
